Thick & Sticky Honey Teriyaki Sauce & Marinade

The texture really is thick and sticky, like it clings to the chicken before it even hits the pan. I just wish it had a bit more of a vinegar kick to balance the sweetness, but it’s a solid weeknight marinade.

Tried this on chicken thighs expecting a punch of soy-based teriyaki, but since there's no soy at all, the umami feels a bit flat to me. The sweetness is definitely there and the thick glaze coats nicely, just wish the flavor had more depth for the price.
